What is the California Return-to-Work Supplement Program? Are you eligible?

The Return-to-Work Supplement Program is a California program/fund designed to make additional payments to workers that are permanently disabled but whose permanent disability benefits are relatively low in comparison to the earnings they have sacrificed due to their disability.

In order to be eligible for the Return-to-Work Supplement Program, there are typically two conditions. First, the date of injury must be January 1, 2013, or after. Second, the applicant must have received a Supplemental Job Displacement Benefit (SJDB) voucher for the injury.
