What happens during recovery from an injury?

Following your injury, your doctor should examine you and create a medical report that is sent to the claims administrator. This report will detail your medical condition and will note if you are able to work or not. If you are able to work, your doctor should describe any specific work limitations (work restrictions). Further, your doctor should note any other changes necessary in your work conditions while you are in recovery. However, if your doctor notes that you are not able to work during recovery, then your employer cannot require you to work.
